The Hands Patchwork N°2 — Original artwork in art chalk

The Hands Patchwork N°2 is an original artwork created with art chalk by Aude de Riberolles. It depicts two intertwined hands, stylized in a contemporary geometric composition.
The artist constructs the form from a multitude of irregular polygons, worked in subtly harmonized flat tints of color.

The chromatic palette relies on earthy and natural tones—ochres, olive greens, deep browns, soft grays, accompanied by touches of golden yellow. These warm shades evoke the velvety texture of art chalk and lend an organic depth to the whole.

The colorful facets interlock with one another, creating a poetic patchwork effect, almost mineral, while preserving the tenderness of the gesture depicted. The contrast between the angular geometry and the delicate symbolism of the hands gives the work a unique expressiveness, at once sensitive and contemporary.
